#PayAttentionToBrazil

What is happening?

-More than a thousand deaths daily.
-Covid variants that can infect people who had already recovered from the virus.
-No oxygen or ICU beds in hospitals.
-The government actively trying to stop the population from getting vaccines, masks, and supplies.
-1 in every 4 Covid deaths worldwide is a Brazilian person.
-The president released untested meds that caused deaths by overuse of medication.
-The government changed the system in order to make registering deaths by Covid harder so they can hide official numbers.

Why does it matter?

IT'S SPREADING.

"The variant has slipped Brazil’s borders, showing up in two dozen other countries and in small numbers in the United States."

"On Friday, officials at the World Health Organization called the surge of cases in Brazil deeply troubling and warned that it could wreak havoc well beyond the country’s borders."
